Who is responsible for your data
The oomade.com website is published by FTA, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) operating the OOmade brand, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register under number 911 047 421, with its head office at 2 avenue Monteroni d'Arbia, 34920 Le Crès, France.
It is the controller for the processing described on this page. For any question about your data, write to contact@oomade.com or call +33 9 80 80 40 14. The co-founders, Michel Hodzaj and Paul-Éric Robert, are your contacts for these matters.
This policy covers the oomade.com website. Services provided to equipped opticians are governed by their own contractual terms.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what we need for each of the uses below. We do not sell or rent your data.
Your contact request
- Data
- Subject of the request, name, email address, phone number, message content.
- Purpose
- To reply to you, arrange a demo, and follow up on the business relationship.
- Legal basis
- Pre-contractual steps taken at your request, and our legitimate interest in following up on our exchanges with professionals.
- Retention
- Three years from our last exchange, then deletion.
Audience measurement
- Data
- Pages viewed, path through the site, device and browser type, technical connection data.
- Purpose
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Elementor statistics).
- Legal basis
- Your consent, collected through the cookie banner and revocable at any time.
- Retention
- The periods stated, service by service, in our cookie policy.
Embedded content
- Data
- IP address and technical data sent to the content provider.
- Purpose
- To display videos (YouTube), maps (Google Maps), social media buttons (Facebook) and to protect the form against automated submissions (Google reCAPTCHA).
- Legal basis
- Your consent, according to your choices in the cookie banner.
- Retention
- Set by each provider, under its own policy.
Font display
- Data
- IP address sent to Google when the Open Sans font loads.
- Purpose
- To display the site in its typeface.

- Our legitimate interest in presenting a readable site consistent with our brand guidelines.
- Retention
- Set by Google, under its own policy.
Site security and hosting
- Data
- IP address, connection date and time, pages requested, technical browser data.
- Purpose
- To run the site, protect it against attacks and diagnose incidents.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and availability of the site.
- Retention
- The time needed for service security, according to the host's rules.
Who has access to it
Your data is read only by the members of the OOmade team who need it to reply to you. It is also processed, on our behalf and within the limits of their assignment, by our technical service providers:
- Elementor, which hosts the site;
- Google, for audience measurement, fonts, form protection, maps and videos;
- Hotjar, for browsing analysis, if you accept it;
- Meta, for Facebook-related features, if you accept it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, particularly in the United States (Google, Meta). These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the Commission.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it;
- have it corrected if it's inaccurate, or erased;
- request restriction of its processing;
- object to its processing, and in particular to any direct marketing, without having to give a reason;
- retrieve them in a machine-readable format (portability);
- withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done before the withdrawal;
- set instructions for what happens to your data after your death.
Write to contact@oomade.com or to our head office address. We reply within one month. If there is reasonable doubt about your identity, we may ask you to prove it.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or at cnil.fr.

Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the data collected is limited to the people who need it, and protected by login.
