OOMADE is the crazy idea of Michel Hodzaj and Paul-Éric Robert.

One comes from telecoms, the other from optics. Together, they boast over 40 years' experience, a shared obsession with useful innovation and a certainty: after-sales service in the optical sector deserves much more than a resin tube.

In 2022, they decided to shake things up by creating a simple, fast and reliable solution for printing replacement frames on demand, from the original lenses.

The idea was so original, simple and effective that they immediately protected it with a patent.
A small step for them, a big step for the optical customer experience.

What drives them? Research, concrete ideas, and above all, feedback from the field.

Their conviction: when we take care of the customer experience, we don't just replace a frame, we strengthen the bond with the customer.

And they weren't wrong. OOMADE was awarded the Silmo d'or 2024 in the "technological innovation in eyewear" category.
